The Cleaner is responsible for performing thorough cleaning of residential properties following construction or renovation projects. This includes removing construction debris, dust, and residue from all surfaces; cleaning windows, floors, fixtures, and appliances; ensuring all areas meet move-in ready standards; and coordinating with project managers to address any specific cleaning requirements or concerns before final client walkthrough.
Candidates should possess strong attention to detail and the ability to identify areas requiring deep cleaning after construction work. Physical stamina is essential for performing demanding cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and working on ladders. Familiarity with and possession of various cleaning products, tools, and techniques for different surfaces is important, along with time management skills to complete jobs efficiently. Basic knowledge of construction processes helps in understanding what areas typically need the most attention during post-construction cleanup.
Candidates should have at least 1-2 years of professional cleaning experience, preferably in post-construction or commercial cleaning environments. Experience working with construction crews or understanding construction timelines is beneficial. Familiarity with standard cleaning equipment and supplies for residential properties is preferred. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are typically required for traveling between job sites.
